Tony - WEAK FADE    Answers
"I have a problem at impact where my hands get too far ahead of the club and my shots result in a weak fade. Any tips or drills?"
Jeff - RIGHT HAND TOO STRONG    Answers
"Are there any drills out there to help with a right hand that overpowers in the downswing, instead of following the left hand? Seems to pull, hook and overpower the follow-through to the left without a nice straight follow through. Ball flight and ball striking are excellent, just that the ball starts right at the target and moves anywhere from 10-30 yards left."
Roger - FLAT LEFT WRIST    Answers
"What is the "KEY" for me to get in the desirable flat left wrist position at the top, whereby the back of the left forearm, left wrist and clubface are all in line with one another? It is my belief that this ideal position is where I should be with my golf swing, and to be brief here, was validated by the Golf School video. Thank you beforehand for any help/advice that you might be able to provide."
Dennis - SAM SNEAD'S SIT DOWN POSITION    Answers
"Please explain to me how to get into the San Snead "sit down" position so I can achieve more power effortlessly at the point of impact. I hit my short irons, 10 yards or so longer, until I max out at 165 with my seven iron. From 6, 5, 4 and 3, I don't increase any length and when I do it is not consistent. Help!"
Christopher - UNABLE TO RELEASE    Answers
"I can hit straight drives but I don't get distance because if I swing hard my body outraces my arms and leaves the clubface open sending the ball into the trees on the right. Could you please give me some ways to swing with all or most of my speed without leaving my arms behind and being unable to release?"
Parker Flagg - BEND LEFT ARM    Answers
"I am left-handed but play golf right handed. I bend my left arm on the back swing. Any ideas on how to stop and drills that would help? Thanks!"
J Yong - DRILLS FOR A BETTER FINISH    Answers
Mike - WHIP-LIKE ACCELERATION    Answers
"How do I learn the whip-like acceleration the pros and top amateurs achieve? Thanks for your valued input."
Milt - HANDS PLAYER    Answers
"In the February 1993 issue of Golf Illustrated, there was an article by Craig Shankland concerning becoming a 'hands player', in the 'seniors corner'. I kept the article and it looks like it could help me quite a bit, since my back and shoulders are not very flexible. I am wondering if there are any videos, or other information on this. Thanks."
J.H. - BALL POSITION    Answers
"How do you determine the distance from your toes to the ball while the clubs vary in length....is this like spine angle?......looking down the cheekbones?.....I am 6 foot 4 and I squat more to hit a hook and stand more erect for a cut......give me a clue?"
Tim - PROPER GRIP    Answers
"What is the proper grip? Can you recommend a good book with exercise and practice routines for the off-season?"
John - SWING PLANE    Answers
"What does it mean to swing on plane? Thanks!"
Aaron - TAKE AWAY DRILLS   Answers
"I would like drills which will help get my takeaway started on plane. You see, my club gets inside and the clubface gets shut on the takeaway. I would also like a drill that will help me establish the correct back swing plane. Thank you. I really would appreciate it."
Morton - TAKE AWAY    Answers
"I have had conflicting advice on the take-back. One pro said to take back the club like a pendulum in a straight line to the target. Another said take it back inside a tad. I'm confused."
Duncan - FLYING RIGHT ELBOW   Answers
"I played semi-pro baseball for several years and started with a batter's grip (right hand under the club). My instructor finally corrected this but cannot get me to keep my right elbow down in the back swing which leads to a huge slice. We have tried head covers under the right arm and some back swing turning drills but I always revert back to this flying right elbow and it looks pretty ugly. I seem to dip my left shoulder going back, also, and sway my hips. I am 6'2" and have gained a few pounds recently to 275. Please help. Thanks."
Joel - SHORTEN BACK SWING   Answers
"I am a 5 handicapper whose main fault is having too long of a back swing which occasionally leads me to casting of the club. I have attempted over this winter to shorten my back swing (ala Tiger Woods "IN MY DREAMS").  I find that I am able to shorten the swing, but it adds tension in my arms. How do I accomplish the shortened back swing while not adding tension?"
Paul - SWING FLAWS   Answers
"I am a single handicap player from Norway. Because of bad weather, I practice indoors during the winter. I use video analysis. Lately, I have noticed that my head moves away from the ball at impact to compensate for a full stretch of my arms. I also move a little laterally. I make good contact with the ball, but should I try to get rid of these flaws?"
JR - COMING UP DURING SWING   Answers
"I am a 4 Handicap and I would like to know a good drill for preventing a spinning out movement, open hands at impact, a drill for me to stop coming up out of the swing, and a drill to stop coming over my shot at times? Thank you."
