From Bob, golfer:
Two years ago I had surgery on my big right toe due to arthritis. I have difficulty transferring my weight from my right side to the left side on the forward swing. Do you guys have any tips or drills I can do to improve this transfer with my limitation of my big toe? I have tried turning my left foot out a little more but that puts a LOT of stress on my left ankle which is afflicted with cerebral palsy.

"Bob: My golf mentor was a PGA tour and Senior PGA tour pro. In all the years he worked with me, he never used the phrase 'weight transfer'. His left heel never came off the ground in the back swing, and I am certain he did not intentionally try to transfer his weight to the back foot in the back swing. Try swinging the club without transferring the weight to the right, or at least not as much, and you may feel that in the forward swing, your weight is where it should be. Good luck!"
